Suggestions anyone??

Now that Aaron is on the move rolling around every where, does anyone have any suggestions about sleeping? He rolls over constantly and wakes up, bumps his head on the side of the crib because bumper pads are a no, no. He then starts crying, I run to his aid because I don't wantAidan to wake up and bring him in bed w/ me. YES=me- the one who said they would never let their kids sleep w/ them. He does however, continue rolling around, bumping his head on my headboard, waking up again. The sleep positioner does not work, swaddling does not work. Should I put the bumpers back? Any other suggestions?

I think velcro is the answer. Put velcro on all his clothes and then velcro him to the floor! If all else fails, I hear gorilla tape or glue works just as good.

How about the pack and play? The sides are a bit softer than the cribs, and he'll still have plenty of room to roll around.
Otherwise, go with the velcro.

Is duct tape inhumane?

I used a bumper with Olivia and she's fine - I know they say nothing in the crib - even sleep positioners, but I personally think they take it to the extreme. I never put blankets in her bed, but she did have the occasional little stuffed animal and the bumper pad - I did make sure the bumper pad was tucked down between the matrees and the crib though so she couldn't pull it up and smother herself with it, but seriously, do you really think that Aaron is going to roll over to the side of the crib and plaster his face to the bumper pad in such a fashion that he smothers himself? I don't see that happening.
Duct tape and velcro are definitely options though - a mama has to sleep - if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

I say put the bumpers back in. I had a bumper pad in the crib for all of my kids, and didn't have any problems. Go for it - you need the sleep!

I vote for bumpers too. Not real mushy ones, nice firm soft ones. My kiddos have blankets and throw them over their heads! Exhibit A~Wyatt Sat night with Aaron's blankie!

He is too cute! That was so funny how he just took a little corner of the blankie and covered just his eyes.

Ok...I say bumpers too.....I used them with Reece. Why did they make bumpers in the first place? So the baby wouldn't get stuck between the matress and rails!! And then they go and take it back...Ketchup once was good for you...now too much can cause cancer..go figure!!

OK Bumpers are in--we'll wait and see.

YEP-20 minutes later-here we are. I'm thinking he may just have to cry it out but Aidan is in the same room.

Dan thought double sided sticky tape is a good option -not a noisy as velcro:)
